Surprise Angie

So I surprised myself today and become proactive and resourceful.  I was reading an article in the New York Times about Gaziantep and there was mention of a Bed & Breakfast here in town that is owned by an gentleman that was raised in America but his parents are both Turkish.  The article talks about how much he helped this food critic from the states when he was visiting Gaziantep.  I figured I would give it a shot and contact him and maybe he could guide me towards other English speakers in the city.....I honestly didn't think he would reply but hey, it was worth a shot.  Sure enough he replied right away and when he gets back from the states at in 2 weeks he is going to get me in touch with some of his friends here that are English and he is going to show me around............lets hope this doesn't blow up in my face :)
